etc.).Symantic Protection Center contains various components like SPC
Server, Integrated Security Applications, Application on Data Collection
System, External Data Feeds, Reporting System, SPC Console, Real time
altering and monitoring. I worked on the component reporting System. In
reporting System the Symantec Protection Center collects data from all of
its integrated applications in near real time, and stores summary data in
the SPC CMDB and the full detailed data in event
archives on local disk. SPC users can generate up-to-date top-level reports
that contain consolidated summary data, and also create trend reports that
provide information across all of the integrated security applications for
a particular range of dates. Various reports generated by SPC users are
Missed Malware Report, Suspected Malware Report, Blocked Malware Report,
Malware Summary Report, Specific Machine Detailed Spec, Admin Audit Report,
and Specific Machine Report.
