PROJECT DETAILS:

PROJECT TITLE:

Fuzzy logic controller for shunt active filter to compensate current harmonic.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The project deals with a three-phase three-wire shunt active filter based on

fuzzy controllers to compensate current harmonics. Due to the presence of non-linear load

such as computer, smps, printer etc. Current from the source get distorted harmonics are

generated in transmission line so the power quality disturbed. The presence of harmonics in

the power lines results in greater power losses in distribution, interference problems in

communication systems and, sometimes, in operation failures of electronic equipments.

Reduction of current harmonics is achieved by injecting equal but opposite current harmonic

components at the point of common coupling point
