Dear Selection Committee,
Thank you for taking the opportunity to review this resume of my
credentials and experience. My background in
manufacturing engineering, product development and engineering management
functions makes me an excellent
candidate to fill the open position.
I have had the opportunity to gain 20+ years professional experience in a
variety of industries including automotive, consumer products, and the
valve industry, after graduating from The Ohio State University with a BS
in Industrial and Systems Engineering. I also completed an MBA program at
Cleveland State University.
I have obtained positions of increasing responsibility, starting as a
Technical Service Engineer at Swagelok Co. before moving to Moen Inc. In
my eight years at Moen I was promoted four times. In subsequent positions
with top companies I implemented new manufacturing and product
technologies. I also obtained extensive international engineering and
business experience. My career progressed into two roles that I especially
enjoy: Sr. level Engineering and Engineering Management.
My employers have noted that I have well developed organizational,
analytical, and communication skills and that I am very creative.
I have the following qualifications that meet the requirements of this
position:
Extensive Background in Manufacturing Processes and Operations
15+ yrs. experience in manufacturing engineering and 5+ years
in product design.
Management of engineering resources
International Sourcing, and manufacturing cost reduction
programs
Domestic and overseas plant expansions, and plant preparation
for new
product introductions
Manufacturing and industrial engineering leadership
New market research and development
Extensive Project Management
I would welcome the opportunity to meet with you to more specifically
discuss what I may do for your organization. I can be reached at (440) 526-
