Working as a lecturer in the “Institute of Aviation and engineering technology”, the
main responsibility was with graduation projects in Automatic control systems with PLC and
SCADA systems to give lectures for automatic control systems and to supervise all the
implementation, documentation and delivery for the project.
Example for the projects done under my supervision:
• Water pumping station:
4 pumps sharing the load over 24 hours to supply a residential city and the automated
system is to keep the pressure at the desired level and adjust the pressure according to
water consumption at the same moment giving the operator the facility to control and to
monitor the water network through HMI graphics.
• Electrical Automatic Transfer Switch:

according to the availability of the loads and the PLC is responsible for detecting the
state of all loads and the active feeders and handles this automatic changeover.
• Tunnel fans and ventilation system:
Using four mega fans to ventilate a tunnel according to the usage of the tunnel and the
air analysis for pollution and the system is responsible for the duty of each fan giving the
facility to the operator to monitor and control using HMI.
• Automated Garage and parking system:
Another famous topic for students to implement is the Garage system (automated
system) to detect and count the number of cars existing insider and to lead the cars to its
proper place according to the size of the car (filtering the big cars such as vans and
trucks to park away from the regular cars) and to monitor the vacancies and to control
manually also
