Brought on board as a contractor to establish and organize the fleet
department. Authored and implemented safety policies for drivers on car
allowance; one for the management team and one for the sales force.
Worked with drivers to ensure that all insurance information was up-to-
date and accurate to comply with IRS and company requirements.
Implemented a system to identify drivers out of compliance and followed up
with all drivers until compliance was obtained.
Worked closely with a large mobility management company to timely process
car allowance and mileage reimbursement fees each month and worked with

FLEET MANAGER
Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations - responsible for managing
fleets from 50 to 225 company vehicles for clients who provided company
vehicles to their sales reps. Revamped processes to comply with legal
requirements and authored the first Rules of the Road Fleet Policy Manual
and monitored actions to ensure compliance. Managed the safety program,
implemented new procedures and training for drivers, evaluated life cycle
costs and worked with insurance company to ensure all accident repairs
were satisfactorily accomplished.
Working with the fleet management company, coordinated auto selections
based on company and driver needs and spearheaded movement of vehicles
when needed. Monitored insurance for drivers on car allowance, evaluated
all drivers' motor vehicle records, and recommended additional training.
Negotiated and monitored compliance to vendor contracts, audited and
corrected multiple billing errors, and renegotiated contracts in place,

DIRECTOR, SAMPLE ACCOUNTABILITY
Recruited by a former VP from Esprit, reported to the VP of Sample
Accountability, and managed 25+ managers, analysts and clerks who were
responsible for overseeing pharmaceutical product sampling and sample
accountability for clients.
Set up new accounts, created client-specific Standard Operating
Procedures, trained the company reps as well as internal staff on the
clients' requirements, and ensured programs were being managed as
required. Coordinated the design, testing, implementation and delivery of
customized client reports. Monitored sample activity in accordance with
PDMA legal obligations and audited results.

Consultant project with organizations, (planning meetings, managing/

For a nation-wide car repair chain, organized their annual regional
meeting of franchise owners and company vendors, handled all on-site

meals. Planned and managed the annual Jersey Magic Jam convention of
magicians, a one-day event with over 100 attendees. Organized and executed
all details for the monthly meetings for NJ National Association of Fleet
Administrators.

Odyssey Pharmaceuticals was a biopharmaceutical startup, which was acquired
by another startup, Esprit Pharma, which in 2007 became a subsidiary of
Allergan and relocated to California.
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, SALES OPERATIONS
Reporting to the VP of Sales Operations, set up Sales Operations from
scratch for both Odyssey and Esprit, focusing on meetings and travel
planning, fleet operations/management, sample accountability and sales
force liaison.
. Fleet Management: Established fleet, travel and sample management
departments for each company from inception, with fleets from 225-500
vehicles. Established defensive driving course and motor vehicle
records programs to maximize safety and minimize costs, liability and
down time. Achieved savings of $190K+ on fuel and maintenance, and
saved more than $1.25M by negotiating contracts with different vehicle
manufacturers, and instituting a lease/buyback program. Chaired
Accident Review and Driver Abstract Committees.
. Travel Planning: Saved $750K by negotiating airline, hotel, and ground
transportation contracts for transient travelers.
. Sample Accountability: Asked to also take on monitoring, auditing, and

Originally hired into the accounting department of Schein, and was asked
to do meeting planning after a company executive attended an event I
organized. My job expanded into travel services and later added fleet
management when Schein was acquired by Watson.
. Fleet Management: Selected, acquired and negotiated all vendor
contracts for a 500-plus vehicle fleet. Saved $112,000 in one year by
creating a database to monitor and evaluate abuse of maintenance
program.
. Meeting Planning: Successfully implemented 25-100 trade shows per
year; registration, hotel selection, coordination of attendees, and
booth logistics. Saved $295,000 in shipping and drayage costs by
creating a system to better manage the handling of the booth and
promotional items.
. Travel Services: Oversaw on-site travel agency with volume of $10
million annually. Negotiated all airline, hotel and car rental
contracts. Reduced average airline ticket price by $129. Monitored the
corporate credit card system.
