CURRENT OBJECTIVES:

Seeking opportunity to apply great skills on surgery, monitoring,

anesthesia and nursing as a Veterinary Technician in a hospital or clinic

setting.

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:

Veterinary medicine doctor certified in Brazil, able to perform pre-

operative surgical diagnoses, general and orthopedic surgery. Highly

trained to perform local and general anesthesia - inhalation and

dissociative - and give general care, besides excellence in communication

and interaction with clients and coworkers.

EDUCATION:

Graduated Medico Veterinario(MV) by the Escola de Medicina Veterinaria da

Universidade Federal da Bahia, Brazil (AVMA Listed). Awarded in August

2010.

EXPERIENCE:

2005 to 2010 HOSPMEV (Hospital of veterinary medicine) of the UFBA

(Federal University of Bahia): Trainee project in medical assistance in the

field of veterinary surgery. Extensive hands-on training for 5 YEARS

(+1.200h) during Veterinary school. Experienced with all aspects of animal

care, anesthesia, general and orthopedic surgery.

June to July 2009 Joint project between UFBA (Federal University of

Bahia) and UNESP (University of S o Paulo State): I Theoretical-Practical

Course Of Anesthesia On Dogs And Cats; Attending as a Teaching Assistant,

and part of the organizing commission.

March to August 2010 HOSPMEV: Period of internship as part of the surgical

team(+408h).

April 2011- 16 hours on the International Symposium "Innovations in

Veterinary Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery in Boston, USA ( Kyon veterinary

surgical products) TTA,THR and PGR. Included 6h of hands-on exercises(ALPS

fracture repair).

June 2011 Externship program at the Angel Animal Medical center MSPCA

Boston, attending as an observer at the emergency medicine/Critical care

Unit/ Surgical center for a period of 66hs.

September/October 2011 Principles of Small Animal Fracture management

course by AO North America. La Jolla Ca, USA.(26h). Pins, wires, DCP and

LCDCP hands on training.

September 2012 Masters course on advanced Osteotomy - Small Animal AO North

America. La Jolla Ca, USA.(24.5h). ALD, ECF (Lisarov) and TPLO hands on

training.

April 2013 International Symposium "Innovations in Veterinary Orthopedics

and Trauma Surgery (14h); Lectures, pannel discussion and breakout

sessions.
