FUNCTIONAL SUMMARY
I have been engaged in the areas of education, human services
and motivation for the past thirty years. During this time I have
engaged individuals from many ethnic and diverse backgrounds.
As a Staff Analyst and Associate Staff Analyst in the City of New
York my primary task was to instruct mid level and initial level
employees in the proper performance of their duties:

The successful training of managers, supervisors and employees
was essential in decreasing conflict between the two parties and
increasing the knowledge needed to be effective and efficient in
the performance of their respective duties.
Instructed all personnel in coping skills training such as: self
esteem, affirmation and managing conflict. Training in these skills
decreased the amount of time wasted in the grievance process.
Employees and supervisors could more easily understand each
other’s role in the performance of their duties.
AS a certified Administrator in the interview process, I was part of
a team that developed a technique by which Children’s Services
was able to retain a higher quality of employee that in turn would
reduce the overall cost of employee turn over.
