Assistant Property Manager
I served as the Assistant Property Manager for a national property
management company in a 400 unit multi-family community in Smyrna,
Georgia. I had most of the accounting functions; this was a high volume
receivables and collections position. I assisted with leasing, move ins,
proof leases for accuracy, dispossessory warrant filing, court appearances,
evictions, renewal generation, resident retention, prepare all
correspondence to residents, maintain adequate office /break room supplies,
create forms and assist the staff with providing the highest possible
customer service for tenants and prospective tenants and all misc. items,
including being the right arm for the Property Manager. I served as the
Acting Property Manager in the absence of the Property Manager.

I successfully maintained the offices of two separate companies, which
included support for the owner/president/CEO for a local commercial
contractor. This Design Build contractor specialized in infrastructure;
grading, site work, concrete and masonry construction on million dollar
contracts. I independently maintained all of the Accounts Payable, Payroll
and banking for three commercial accounts for the construction company and
one account for the property management company. My regular duties
involved weekly payroll, federal tax deposits, bank reconciliation, human
resources, drug free certification, and other general office duties, (I.e.
maintaining the office equipment, faxes, communications, contracts as well
as insurance issues, both workmen's compensation as well as general
liability. This also included managing tags and licenses for GDOT and IRS
requirements for all heavy trucks. I maintained Brown Company's rental and
owned property maintenance issues, as well as collection of rent, leases,
renewals, realtor's commissions, quarterly CAM billing and other property
management duties.

I successfully supported the office and field personnel as well as the
owners/ CEO for a local commercial specialty contractor. I was responsible
for all aspects of the bidding process. I performed all of the commercial
billing, both AIA as well as others. I was tasked with filing of all liens
and collections and I am fluent in Georgia lien laws as well as FDCPA
guidelines. I proof read contracts to assure that they were in compliance
with original contract verbiage. I served as the company's representative
for the Associated General Contractors of Georgia and Alabama.
