Good
afternoon!
My
name
is
Meghan
Musarra
and
I
am
a
recent
graduate
from
Purchase
College,
SUNY
where
I
received
my
Bachelor’s
Degree
in
Art
History.
I
recently
found
a
job
posting
on
indeed.com
for
a
position
as
gallery
assistant.
I
have
held
two
internships
and
completed
several
courses
that
qualify
me
for
this
position.
Arts
management,
museum
functions
and
gallery
management
provided
multiple
opportunities
for
hands-
on
learning.
In
May
of
2011,
I
created
a
to-
scale
mock
exhibition
using
pieces
from
the
Neuberger
Museum’s
collection.
I
was
able
to
volunteer
as
a
docent
for
the
Neuberger’s’
spring
2011
exhibition
Fifty
Years
of
Latin
American
Art.
Arts
management
stressed
the
importance
of
building
and
sustaining
client
relations,
budgeting
and
working
for
non-
profit
organizations.
My
time
spent
at
Miranda
Arts
Project
Space
consisted
of
managing
social
media
sites,
hanging
artwork
and
assisting
resident
artists.
As
an
assistant
archivist
I
was
able
to
have
my
gloved-
hands
on
original
photographs
and
prints
for
hours
on
end.
I
re-
organized
the
archive’s
entire
collection
of
Gordon
Parks
photographs.
Lastly,
I
find
that
my
years
of
restaurant
experience
to
be
worth
mentioning.
Various
hostess
and
waitress
positions
have
greatly
increased
my
confidence
and
ability
to
converse
easily
with
people
of
all
ages.
I
have
received
many
compliments
on
my
personable
character
and
approachable
demeanor.
I
would
truly
appreciate
the
opportunity
to
be
considered
for
this
gallery
assistant
position
and
would
be
thrilled
to
meet
for
an
interview
at
a
time
that
is
convenient
for
us
both.
Thank
you
for
considering
my
enclosed
resume.
Sincerely,
Meghan
Musarra
