the automotive industry. I did everything from machining castings of die shoes on large HBMs.I did bench work
to finish press work on dies that punched out hoods, etc.

Caterpillar Inc - Aurora, IL - 1994 to 1995
CNC machinist on the excavator line. World's largest turnover tables verticle machining centers. These 4
machines costing $17 million apeice had 500 tool, 10 in spindles, 75 horsepower motors. The complex had 7
load stations at the end of long welding lines. We would load the 20' by 9' pallets from piles of prepared frames.
Some frames weighed 50 tons. There were 3 computer systems, one for the railed palletized transfer machine,
one for the laser tool check-in system, and the Allen bradley control for the VMC. 3 men per shift each machinist
ran 2 machines,and a loader helper. While there we produced the most frames they ever had in one day.
