Strong I.V. skills tons of experience starting peripheral i.v.'s I drawing blood peripherial.
Strong knowledge of central lines all type (Passport,Lifeport, Hickman catheters, PICC
lines, Subclavine lines tripple/quad lumens Vasc catheters) and their care.
Long strong solid history of giving blood & blood products(platelets, fresh frozen plasma,
cryopercipitate).
I.V. zometa,IVIG, other special infusions for patients with lupus, rheumatoid arthritis ect.
Solid chemothearpy background having given chemothearpy the last 20 years esp. last
year work 3 days 8 hr shifts hanging chemo in infusion center.
Served as a charge nurse many years making assignments to other R.N,'s & LPN's &
CNA's based on
their skills, & capabilies. Problem solving & Critical Thinking Skills.
