BUSINESS EXPERIENCE
Vice President, Global Supply Chain and Chief Risk Officer, J.M. Huber Corporation, 9/05 to present
Currently serve as the senior supply chain management executive for the Engineered Materials Division and
CP Kelco. Responsible for management of global Logistics, Customer Care, Materials Management, Planning,
Energy Management, Trade Development, Sustainability, and Sourcing organizations. Manage world-wide
organization of over 150 personnel. Participate as a member of Huber’s Engineered Materials and CP Kelco
Business Leadership Teams reporting to the Presidents. Created a program to consolidate the ocean and
highway carrier bases resulting in lower delivered cost and improved service. Developed an active trade
development program to support global supply chain activities including use of trade programs to improve
delivered cost economics for globally sourced products, and delivered finished goods materials. Manage
global spend in excess of $950 million including transport, raw materials and energy. Initiated very effective
working capital improvement programs for both Sectors’ driving down the cash conversion cycle in each
business significantly. Managed high volume global ocean program including 32,000 containers, and 65
ocean charters per year. Manage global contract manufacturing program for CP Kelco. Manage company
Business Process Council driving lean, six sigma and process improvement initiatives in all company functions.
Act as Chief Risk Officer for CP Kelco managing enterprise risk, regulatory compliance and security (intellectual
property, cyber-security, personnel and asset security).
Vice President, Global Logistics and Customer Service, Great Lakes Chemical Corporation, 9/02 to 8/05
Served as a senior supply chain management executive for Great Lakes with responsibility for Corporate
Transportation, Customer Care, Distribution and all third-party logistics activities. Managed world-wide
organization of over 300 personnel. Participated as a member of the Consumer Products, Flame Retardant,
and Polymer Stabilizer Business teams. Directly lead supply chain activities for the Consumer Products
Division. Completed an aggressive restructuring of corporate procurement practices for Global ocean and
highway transportation services, reducing costs by over 15% per year. Restructured the Global Customer Care
organization, driving productivity increases of 20%. Participated on steering committee for the upgrade of SAP
to an Enterprise platform. Sponsored Six Sigma and Lean productivity teams addressing order fulfillment and
global trade opportunities. Developed global trade and compliance organization in support of Business Unit
objectives and corporate compliance initiatives.
Director, Global Logistics and Customer Service, Engelhard Corporation, 12/99 to 8/02
Served as the senior supply chain management executive for Engelhard Corporation with responsibility for
Corporate Transportation, Distribution, Inventory Control, Production Planning and Scheduling and third-party
logistics activities. Managed the worldwide Customer Service organization for the Performance Technology
Division. The supply chain organization included over 75 personnel worldwide. Managed procurement of all
transportation, distribution, material handling and warehouse services including marine terminals. This
represented over $250 million in purchased services annually. Managed corporate rail fleet of 1800 rail cars.
Managed corporate energy acquisition team including risk management program with annual spending of $120
million. Served on the Performance Technology Business management team. Represented the Corporation in
congressional maritime, air, highway and railroad commercial affairs programs.
Senior Manager, Global Logistics, Engelhard Corporation, 12/94 to 11/99
Managed the distribution of finished products for the Paper Pigments, Effects, Colors, Film, Minerals and
Metals businesses. Managed a worldwide network of 28 distribution centers and nine marine terminals.
Managed inventory movements via rail, highway and ocean transport. Project manager for the development of
the Distribution Resource Planning, Transportation and Inventory modules of an Enterprise Management
System. Responsible for contract negotiations and sourcing associated with all ocean terminals, warehousing,
contract manufacturing and material handling agreements. Supervised a corporate supply chain management
group located in the U.S., Europe and Asia.
Manager, Manufacturing and Logistics Planning, Pfizer International, 7/93 to 11/94
Managed the production and distribution of bulk active Pharmaceutical and Animal Health materials from
European and Asian plants required by international plants and co-marketers. Managed the consolidation of
forecast demand data from forty international markets. Developed master production plans for five Pfizer basic
plants and third-party locations. Reviewed product sales trends and launch schedules to determine plant
loading levels and financial projections.
Manager, Inventory Planning and Analysis, Pfizer International, 4/90-6/93
Managed divisional Pharmaceutical and Animal Health inventory valued at $457 million. Reported to senior
management on regional and country inventory performance. Coordinated an active supply-chain management
program resulting in a relative inventory reduction of 20% and a turnover ratio improvement of 31%. This
represented a $21 million saving in carrying cost per year for the Company. Conducted product line sales and
profitability analysis for international subsidiaries resulting in reduced inventory carrying-costs and improved
profit margins.
Senior Financial Analyst, Pfizer International, 2/89-3/90
Supported senior management in the development and monitoring of divisional and country budgets. Analyzed
and reported to management regarding new product launch performance, and the impact of sales volume,
foreign exchange, product mix and price on key country business performance. Wrote monthly international
business operations reports. Wrote monthly commentary on the international consolidated results for the
Corporate Board of Directors.
Strategic Planning Analyst, Pfizer International, 8/87-1/89

Distribution Center Operations Manager, Pfizer Inc., 5/85-7/87
Managed 25 distribution center Information Systems, Inventory Control, Accounting, and Pricing Group
personnel. Supervised the Pharmaceutical, Consumer Products, Chemical and International Divisions Order
Processing and Customer Service Groups. Developed a new warehouse management system designed to
enhance employee productivity and product throughput rates.
Information Technology Group Manager, Department of the Army, 7/83-4/85
As an Army Captain, managed the budgets, schedules, development and maintenance of three mainframe
computer and satellite telecommunications systems. Managed over 70 information technology and operational
personnel. Designed, procured and implemented bar code source data systems that significantly increased the
accuracy and timeliness of logistics information to the host systems.
Transportation Manager, Department of the Army, 6/81-6/83
Transportation Manager for the Army's first automated logistics management system designed to support the
military's deployable forces. Managed 45 personnel involved in the movement of hazardous and dangerous
cargo, through sea and air terminals.
