Sales Manager (2004 - 2012)
GLC is a $10 million, 125 year old, fifth generation family owned company
that supplies calcium carbonate to the agricultural and industrial markets.
Led the sales and marketing department for the company promoting calcium
carbonate to various markets, such as agriculture, environmental, glass,
and industrial fillers (mainly plastic). Oversaw account management of 300
accounts in the Midwest and aggressively pursued new business. Also
managed two different manufacturer's representatives for the industrial
markets.
Accomplishments:
. Managed all accounts and grew the company from $6 million to $10
million in sales within 5 years.
. Added two new markets to GLC's portfolio: glass and industrial
fillers.
. Expanded geographical reach adding $500,000 in sales (1 year) without
