From Jul. 5, 2013 to present
Responsibilities :
Truck driver. Hauled freight in 53’ dry vans and containers on various chassis as well as 40’ and
28’ trailers. Picked up freight from vendors and delivered to Seattle to either company yard or to
Alaska marine lines container yard for barge loading. Freight business was expected to pick up
and did not. As a result I was cross trained in milk farm double tanker pickups and deliveries in
the Milky Way Transport division. I could not physically and consistently climb ladders for the
milk farm tanks and tanker trailers, 30-40 times a night, due to my weakened hip strength caused
from a stroke I had June 2012. I am still employed here but available work is scarce in freight
side of business.
