Dear Talent Recruiter
Every organization is challenged by filling vacancies with the very best candidate, one
who brings expertise, sound judgment, drive, enthusiasm, leadership and, experience.
For over 26 years I have been in the home medical equipment industry, I have developed
and proudly seen the successful growth of ventilator, oxygen, cpap, and nebulizer
programs, and have been directly responsible for three digit growth in all phases of home
respiratory therapy.
If you are determined, driven, and skilled you will be successful, and I am proud of my
record of exemplary customer service and relations, providing state of the art technology
while being financially responsible and contributing to the overall financial growth and
success of the orginazation I have been involved with since 1986.
My expertise is not limited to clinical therapy; my role as Assistant Manager and then to
Manager has further rounded out my experience and increased my versatility and value.
Successful budget management, financial resolve and handling the most challenging
situations and issues, along with my clinical and varied experience make me a valuable
and unique candidate
The DME industry has been and will continue to be a most unique business, shrinking
reimbursement; burdensome regulation and auditing, and recently competitive bidding
require creative approaches and strategic planning. I have been involved in every facet of
the HME industry and have been instrumental in planning, and policies that continue to
make our orginazation financial, and strategically strong and well positioned for the
future. Changing emphasis on product lines, inventory control and cost control are just
some of the areas that I have been successfully involved in.
As a homecare respiratory therapist, I have provided home set up and follow up for a
variety of therapies including oxygen, nebulizer, aerosol, cpap and bipap and ventilation.
I am proud of my outstanding record of successful, kind, considerate, and effective
application of home respiratory therapy.
I not only developed these programs, I trained our staff, developed and participated in our
on call program, and originated and developed our phototherapy program
I am an excellent communicator, and listener who relays information and provides
training from the user perspective, considering that the receiver of the therapy has not
experienced it before. I am a energetic, committed and extremely devoted advocate of the
value and importance of our industry and am excellent in giving in-services, sales calls,
and speeches to a variety of audiences
Compliance with accreditation, FDA, DOT, federal and state requirements are vital to
the operation of DME companies, and I am experienced in all facets of these
requirements, I have been involved in eight Joint Commission surveys and have been
directly responsible for several of these deficient free surveys, I am the quality control
officer for our liquid program and frequently attend conference webinars, seminars,
conferences to keep me current in these vital areas.
I am a member of the American and Pennsylvania Association of Respiratory Care, the
Pennsylvania Association of Medical Providers (PAMS), and a member of the
Respiratory Committee of PAMS I am also a member of the safety, emergency
management performance improvement and quality of care committees. I have been
frequently named most appreciated employee and have a long track record of accolades
from customers, patients and peers
I have a drive and commitment to the mission of our valuable industry, and would be
extremely interested for an opportunity to speak with you in more detail to discuss in
detail, how your organization can benefit from getting me on board.
Hoping to hear from you soon
Regards,
Barry
