focal points of its business activities include key components and services for compressors, engines and turbo

machines, hydraulic systems and piezo technology for vehicles and machine tools, as well as components and

systems for shift and clutch operations in vehicle drive trains of all kinds.

Responsibility:

Engineering Team Leader responsible for reciprocating compressor Upgrade, Revamp and Valve application

engineering with ITKK (International Technical Kompressor data base) tool.

Reciprocating gas compressor upgrade and revamp project feasibility study as per API 618, API 11 P

standard.

Arrange design inputs from Client, other agencies for carrying out engineering activities. Planning and

Scheduling of engineering activities.

Co-ordination with External Design Consultants, In-house design team for multidiscipline quality

engineering documents as per agreed engineering schedule and contract specifications.

Act as the interface between the Engineering team and the Project Management team and ensure smooth

transfer of information between the two.

Single Point contact for Client’s technical requirements and specification approval

Sub vendor’s co-ordination for detail engineering and support for Third party Approvals.

Periodical Audits to review installation and commissioning Support at site

Customer complaint handling and resolving with root cause analysis and CAPA

Responsible for customer interactions, customer training

Project reviews and reporting with Regional office at Singapore

Key Projects :

Successfully completed Revamp of Natural Gas application project worth Rs 43 Mn in 2010-2011. Ariel

Make compressor retrofitted from Single Stage to Three Stage to suit Suction Pressure drop. Scope

includes engineering of new cylinders, Power Calculations to retain existing driver (Gas Engine), Rod Load

and Flow Rate calculations, Detail engineering of Pulsation Bottles, Air heat exchanger, Knockout Drums,

Skid Layout, Instrumentation and Isolation Valves, Engineering coordination for Pulsation study, Piping

Design and Stress Analysis.

Currently Working on Revamp Engineering of Nuovo Pignone Compressors (02 Nos) to suit process gas

change requirement by converting Singe stage configuration to Two Stage. Project activity includes detail

engineering of compressor parts like Cylinder, Valve, Packings etc; Project worth of Rs 78 Mn to be

completed by Dec 2013.

Technical Feasibility study completed successfully for various revamp enquiry from major end users in India

and report submitted for IOCL, Reliance, Cairn Energy, HPCL etc.

Successfully resolved critical complaints of Valve failure with technical analysis and Root cause

identification for Reliance, NTPC, HPCL, KPC, Atlas Copco etc.

Skills and Training :

Hands on experience of utilizing OEM Performance Simulation Software for Compressor Performance

verification.

Attended in house compressor engineering and valve application engineering trainings at Australia, China

and Austria in year 2009, 2010.

Attended training on Understanding of P&ID at National University of Singapore in 2010.

Attended training on Pulsation, Vibration and Noise Control conducted by TNO, Netherlands in Nov 2012.

Familiarity of MS-Project for project schedule and tracking.
