"Lois and has been instrumental in getting the CPA's of New York State more news coverage on a regular
basis. She has worked with various news outlets to have them use CPAs as resources on a timely basis and in
a professional manner. Lois uses her contacts to set up a regular series of interviews in which local CPAs can
use their expertise to educate the public about current topics of taxes or personal finance. She consistently
contacts the CPA presenters and offers them ideas for discussion topics. This is very valuable to us, especially
during our busy season, to have topics and background information already put together. Lois utilizes her
own background in public relations and then works with the local news outlet contacts to find topics that are
of current interest.to the public. She uses her volunteer CPA base to find presenters who can express the topic
in non-technical terms the public can understand. By having the CPAs in contact witht the general public,
their expertise is now seen as going beyond corporate boardrooms. Lois has helped NYS CPAs be much more
visible to the public"
