PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION

. Work with cross functional teams in the development of new product -

image based blood analyzer. Find solutions to complex product

development problems while maintaining design for manufacturability.

. Develop and perform system level verification protocol. Provide

specialized functions such as algorithm development, design of

experiments, proof of concept research and development and data

analysis.

. Develop and follow specialized procedures in executing experiments,

evaluation and documentation of results. Develop working relationship

with cross functional groups, senior / executive management and

vendors.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

. Lead, design and conduct system level verification; collect, organize,

analyze, and document test results.

. Perform product definition, product test and evaluation, system V & V,

and/or design control documentation under GMP and FDA regulatory

environment.

. Test integration of analytical and performance related elements with

software, hardware, and electronics components.

. Communicate effectively and participate with cross functional

development teams with good negotiating skills to direct

multidisciplinary teams towards solutions.

New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, NJ

August 2007-May 2012

Research Engineer,

http://www.njit.edu

. Developed a time-resolved Micro Particle Image Velocimetry setup from

scratch to measure the induced flow due to adsorption of particles on

liquid surfaces. The product developed is at par with the current

commercial Micro-PIV products available at a fraction of cost. The

system is modular in design, and components can be added based on the

requirements. The experiments performed are published in peer reviewed

journals.

. Led a team of 3 Engineers and developed a shear strength test system

for experimental work on improving the shear strength of electro-

rheological fluids. The system is currently in the calibration phase.

. Developed multiple experiments to assemble micron sized particles on

fluid-fluid interface by application of electric field. Design and

hands on fabrication of multiple devices including machining various

metals and plastic.

. Redesigned blood flow experiment to study blood flow in human brain

for different scenarios such as anemia, heart failure, stroke and

arteriovenous malformation. The system is currently in Temple

University PA.

. Over 10 peer reviewed publications; exceptional presentation,

communication, writing and documentation skills.

Adjunct Professor, NJIT, Newark NJ

January 2012-May 2012

Teaching Assistant, NJIT, Newark, NJ January 2008-

December 2011

Bradley University, Peoria, IL

January 2004 - August 2007

Research Assistant,

http://www.bradley.edu

. Proposed, designed and developed preview guided adaptive control

strategy for an active suspension system.

. Explored regenerative capabilities of an electromagnetic actuator and

to reduce the power consumption of active suspension system.

Burckhardt Compression AG, Zurich, Switzerland

January 2005
