Summary
I worked as an electrical engineer, specializing in antenna design, from 1994-2013. That job and career have
come to an end, and I have left engineering to pursue other interests. I am pursuing a second bachelor's degree
in English, with emphases in creative writing and modernist/postmodern literary studies. I currently meet all
requirements for the BA in this field, but I am holding off graduation for now so that I can take a few extra
classes. I have also taken some astronomy classes on the side, and I am interested in interactions between
science and the humanities and in how scientific communication operates.
While I had a successful and productive engineering career, life is too short to remain forever specialized in one
narrow area, and it is time for me to put some of my other skills into practice. I have a versatile and varied skill
set, and I am looking for new and different experiences, so I am open to a variety of job possibilities. Though I
am open to many possibilities, I would prefer opportunities to put my writing and editing skills into practice.
