Recruited to Increase production, Quality of work,
Inventory control, and On Site technician
performance.
Within 6 months the steadily declining shop VMI%
reached goal @ 96%, Q.I topped @71% and
breakdowns began decreasing.
Domino’s, Hartford Distributors, Mondelez Global,
etc. have come to appreciate our On Site techs due
to the level of support they receive from us.
Reversing an alarming trend of lack of service and
vehicles Out of Service on site. This was a 6 month
project that has had excellent returns. Not
measurable in the Metrics, however CSI clearly
show it.
I control parts flow at the source, charging parts as
they are removed from the parts room, removing any
potential loss. Shop inventory has been at company
set standards for the last 8 months.
I have been with Ryder System, Inc. for 1 year and
feel my leadership skills are well within core
competencies of Upper Management roles reflected
previously.

1% man hours O/T with improved production,

several years of poor performance (VMI & OOS).

I was the assistant to the Shop Manager, having full
P.O.,labor allocation, and scheduling authorities.
Recruited by First Student to help raise constant
declining trend in VMI and OOS, while lowering
Increasing Inventory, vendor utilization, and O/T
costs.
VMI was at an alarming, 3 year decline to 33%,
with DMV OOS at 45%. Costs were 35% above
goal, with inventory losses growing.
It took 20 months to stabilize inventory and costs,
while increasing VMI to 95-100% and decreasing
DMV OOS to single digits. As Primary Ambassador
to the DMV Inspectors, I won their trust and
confidence that lead me to the next step of my career
as Shop Manager.
