DIAGNOSTIC RADIOLOGY- Answered telephones, responded to questions as they related to radiology
procedures for patients and hospital colleagues, input of medical data into hospital computer system, filed and
delivered x-rays to physicians in emergency room, assisted and greeted patients as they arrived for procedures,
conversed daily with physicians and supervisors about impending procedures, processed film to be viewed by
the doctors.
CAT SCAN-Administered contrast solution to patient prior to exam and explained the procedure to the patient,
served as the courier to transport film to the radiologist to be transcribed, and transport film to the emergency
room and the file room, retrieved film that had been processed in x-ray machine then displayed for viewing by
physicians, ordered supplies for CAT SCAN.
MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING- Answered telephones, called into pharmacy for relaxation medication for
patients for their studies, scheduled appointments, input MRI procedures into the computer on a daily basis,
transported film to radiologist to be transcribed, and prepared folders for the following business day.
