Launched private consulting practice specializing in strategic sourcing and supply chain services, and
operational planning for small and mid-sized businesses. Engagements include the following;
Sourcing, supply chain and operational consulting services to manufacturer of ballistic vests, body
armor and associated accessories during acquisition and relocation of manufacturing facilities. This
engagement is ongoing.
Supply chain due diligence in support of potential start-up venture in ammunition manufacturing.

Remington Arms, LLC – Madison, NC 3/11

Purchasing Director, (3/11 – 3/12): Responsible for development and implementation of cost reduction
and purchasing strategies for a $150 Million portfolio of direct and indirect materials, services and
commodities. Manage a purchasing team of four direct reports and six indirect reports responsible for
ammunition commodities, purchased parts, indirect materials and tooling, packaging, maintenance services,
travel services, IT and accessories and licensed products.
Delivered 6% savings on MROP and Custom Tooling spend of approximately $20 Million
Drove complex strategic sourcing program to expand approved base of brass suppliers, reducing
dependence on single-source incumbent and delivering a 3% savings on $70 Million annual spend
Led sourcing initiatives for ammunition packaging materials that reduced costs by 3% on plastic

implementation of global sourcing strategies. Effectively manage all aspects of strategic sourcing and

and call centers in VA, FL,TX, CA and WA. Leveraged best sourcing practices for the purchase of over
$30M in capital equipment and support services, i.e., FF&E (fixtures, furniture and equipment), electrical
switch gear, UPS systems, back-up power generators, HVAC systems, power distribution devices,
maintenance contracts, etc.
Reduced costs $5.5M in FF&E expense as a result of competitive sourcing and negotiation.
Created significant value for company in pricing and processes by negotiating guaranteed long-term
sub-market pricing with partnered suppliers, i.e. Caterpillar, Trane, Square D, GE, etc., realizing: 1.
