As a Customer Service Advisor, I help customers with any questions or

queries they may have regarding their bills, packages or faults which they

may have with their services. I also upsell to customers for example look at

their package, what their useage may be with their telephone or broadband

and advise the customer that they could be on a much better package which

would lead to them paying more per month with their monthly rate, but less on

their bills each month. It is within my job role to make customers happy with

their package and to ensure that their customer experience is to their

satisfaction.

September 2009 - Present - Tesco Shopping Centre

Customer Services Advisor

As a customer services Advisor it is my role to answer queries and questions

that they may have regarding the store. I return and exchange items for

customers and make sure they leave the store feeling happy and satisfied

with the service which was provided to them. It is also my role to make sure i

am adhering to store policy.

August 2008 - June 2009 Wellwynd Practice

Receptionist

I worked in the doctors surgery as a receptionist and had to undertake a number

of duties to ensure I was carrying out my job correctly. These duties included :

• Answering Phone calls from patients and pharmacies regarding Appontments,

Prescriptions, and patients problems in general

• Dealing with patients at the desk, telling them where to go and how long they

had to wait to see the doctor and getting their repeat prescription for them

• Dealing with care homes and their prescriptions

• Filing patients notes to the computer

• Ensuring that I was treating patients with great respect and letting them rely on

me to keep their trust in the surgery.

• Guiding visitors in and out of the surgery before and after meetings

At the start of my time with Wellwynd I was also sent on a Receptionist Course

at The Royal College Of General Practitioners where I receieved a certificate

from the NHS. There they would tell us how to deal with patients who could be

angry with you for any excuse and helped us learn how to maintain a nice nature

to them.

May 2007 - August 2008 Gilchrist & Company

Office Junior

I took up a position as an office junior with Gilchrist and Company and have

gained what I feel is valuable experience. Here my training to date has included :

• The use of Microsoft Word and Excel

• Filing Tax, Correspondance, Audit and Payroll

• Both Typing and Printing Letters

• Great Telephone skills

I can also work Independently for example; if these jobs were to run out I would

look for other important work to do to keep myself busy.

These jobs Include:

• Tidying up Shelves

• Sorting files into alphabetical order

• Shredding

• Thinning down Tax Files

• Listing tax files not needed and storing them

• Taking notes of tax files stored

Checkout Operator

As a checkout operator I was expected to consider the customers need and

happiness. The customer should be treated with respect so you face being the

last thing the customer sees before leaving the store; its important that they feel

happy and satisfied.

Hobbies

In my spare time I enjoy going to the cinema and spending time with friends. I

also enjoy going to the gym with a keen interest of keeping fit, and often attend

concerts with friends.
