Extension Experience:

i) Awareness among farmers: Co-ordinated Kisan Gosthi in village Mathiya and

Babutola of Muzaffarpur district, Bihar (India) for awareness about the reclamation

of sodic soils through on farm visits on demonstration trials in farmers fields. The

participating farmers from different villages were very happy with the standing

wheat crop and encouraged with the performance of gypsum alone and with

combination of different organic amendments.

ii) Front Line Demonstration (FLD) for micronutrients:

FLD in Tribal area is being carried out for awareness among farmers about the use of

micronutrients.
