Project Controller

Responsible for the overall Project Set-up – Determine constructability by comparing plans,

specifications and drawings to identifying any discrepancies or missing details. Generate internal

budgets and project schedule. Issuing RFIs to gather necessary information. Consistently obtaining

necessary permits and assists with estimating to ensure quality takeoffs.

Project Execution and Document Control – Prepare all scopes of work, contracts and job orders

to necessary subcontractors. Generate, update and tracked all RFIs, submittals and procurement items

with foremen’s, Architects, Engineers and Subcontractors to ensure the project schedule is met.

Financial Management – Generate internal budgets at project start up. Compiled and tracked

Cost to Complete on monthly basis to determine committed vs. budgeted costs. Review and prepared

all necessary change order requests ensuring validity of pricing and consistence of presentation to

owner. Generate and tracked all payment applications from subcontractors and to owner.

Relationship Management – Develop critical client relationships through being available for

client requests, working collaboratively with outside parties (design teams, vendors, and sub-

contractors) to accomplish client goals and maintaining close communication with project team

regarding client contact tactics and strategies. Develop and maintain positive subcontractor relations

through establishing and maintaining good communication, communicating on responsibilities,

changes and issues, and following up on requests.

Project values range between $35K to $300K. Manage all Worker Comp claims, payments,

audits and reporting forms. Also assist Grant Manager with Hazard Mitigation Grant Program and

Increase Cost of Compliance document.
