Experience
UC Davis Softball Team, September 2008-June 2012. Four-year D1 intercollegiate
scholarship athlete at the University of California, Davis. Gained skills in leadership,
group organization, efficient communication and decision-making. Able to adapt to many
different personalities and situations, which allowed me to understand expectations,
determine positive outcomes and become a part of a bigger vision. Managed team
obligations and sixteen units of schoolwork effectively while simultaneously attending
team practices for more than four hours per day.
UC Davis Softball Camps, July 2011-August 2011. Camp Leader. Led children and
teenagers in a fun and safe environment. My responsibility as a collegiate athlete was to
be a good role model and to teach the athletes the fundamentals of softball. I worked
stations for hitting, fielding and pitching throughout the camps.
Physical Edge Internship, Davis California, September 2012-December 2012.
Guided patients in proper exercise form and posture, under direction of a Physical
Therapist. Administered therapeutic hot packs, ice pack, electrical stimulation, and
ultrasound treatments. Set up, cleaned and disinfected patient treatment areas. Supervised
and led recovery exercises
Physical Therapy Aide, Think Physical Therapy, Tustin California, March 2013-August
2013.
Perform routine physical therapy treatments according to patient treatment plans under
the direction of a licensed physical therapist. Work with patients to identify and improve
their movement and function; help to promote patients' health and well-being. Assist
physical therapists devise and review treatment programs, comprising of manual therapy,
movement, therapeutic exercise and the application of technological equipment. Observe
and report on the condition, conduct, and progress of patients to therapist.
