• Responsible for booking resident doctor appointments and scheduling transportation online

to bring them to appointments and back to facility.

• Responsible for filing all paperwork in charts and overflow pertaining to residents.

• Responsible for filling out Turning Schedule, Alarm Monitor and Intake and Out Take

forms and inserting them into CNA workbooks.

Purchasing Coordinator

Responsible for purchasing OTC medication, incontinent supplies, enteral formula, dietary supplements, flu

vaccine and general Nursing supplies for healthcare facility, with hand-held Palm Pilot and transmitting

order via internet, speaking with vendors and account manager about costs and products needed.

Updating Weekly Wound Distribution, Resident Incontinent Assessment Guide, Enteral Formula and Diet

Supplement Reports in Microsoft Office Word Files.

Distributing medical supplies, enteral formula and dietary supplements to the correct units.

Rotating OTC medication in Nursing Supply Office as well as Nursing med rooms

Faxing monthly submission forms to Incontinent Supply Company.

Accessing Genecare computer program as needed to check resident billing status.

Labeling specific items with orbits labels, printing patient scan sheets for orbits labels and inputting the

number of orbits products used into computer for billing purposes.

Responsible for processing vendor invoices as they come in and keeping track of Monthly Budget Spending

Reports, Credit Memo’s and Accrual Sheets.

Receive and answer questions from Nurses regarding supplies needed for residents.

Responsible for checking Physicians orders in resident’s charts on monthly basis and filling out Order

Detail Report for Med B residents that have Urological, Ostomy, Trach and Enteral needs.

Responsible for making sure that Long Term Authorization Agreement is filled out by the person that is

responsible for resident if they are not able to do so for themselves, so that payments can be made on behalf

of the resident for any products and services furnished by facility.

Responsible for ordering supplies and equipment for Physical Therapy department.

Cross Training and Helping Unit Secretaries update Assignments in Microsoft Office Excel program as

needed.

Helping in Staffing Department as needed.

Relieving receptionist as needed.

Helping update Medicare in Microsoft Office Excel program as needed.
