DUTIES INCLUDED:

-Oversee the day to day operations and assignments of the hotel staff.

-Assist General Manager in the development and communication of departmental strategies and goals.

-Communicate and enforce policies and procedures.

-Recommend and/or initiate salary, disciplinary, or other staffing related actions in accordance with company rules

and policies.

-Ensure all staff is properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their job

f unctions.

-Assist General Manager in monitoring financial and operational plans for the hotel. Provide regular direction and

manage hotel operations for all/some of the following areas:

-Front office, revenue, and reservation functions to ensure the delivery of superior guest

services.

-Food and Beverage, to ensure standards of operation and quality and guest satisfaction

a re maintained.

-Housekeeping and Maintenance, to ensure compliance with quality and brand standards

i n all areas of the hotel.

-Back office, reconcile time edits and payroll administration in compliance with wage and

hour regulations. Enter invoices in a timely manner for payment. Order office supplies/

housekeeping supplies.

-Convenience store (pantry), maintain and stock according to brand standards. Monitor

i nventory and order as needed in a timely and efficient manner.

-Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other shifts and

departmental management.

-Interact with outside contacts:

-Guests, to ensure their total satisfaction.

-Owners, regarding operational updates and current issues.
