RELATED EXPERIENCE

10 Years Logistic Specialist, Starts from logistics school, making to the highest level of logistics

specialist is actually my job title when I was in the military service. Graduated from logistics

school I earned the 4th to the 5th ranking as supply specialist. I starts from bulkhead to bulkhead

inventory, inventory of all small nuts and bolts, reviewing shelf life’s deteriorated material,

processing material turn in to the provider company for reimbursement, a thorough review of all

small items like gaskets, washers, or all items you can name of in require for ships repair and

maintenance. By each nomenclature, by national stock number, parts number and other

identifiable noun name in order to search the items or material. The inventory of radioactive

items, hazardous material, all depot level repairable and non-repairable items, consumable and

non-consumable items, all the way through different kind of argon or oxygen gas cylinder. By

each category, classification, groups and by different types codes identifier

In the Navy, we have what we call a SNAP I & II computer data system for the records of all

supply and material onboard in each command, a standalone (Excel) program that’s for

command (official) used only, in this program as supply clerk, I also given authority to access to

this system based category, (means, your access is depend on your level of authority). You can

queue, update, input, review and print, purchase order, complete the pending transaction, adjust,

inquire, check status, and even given the exact information about the Supply Financial

Management category.

Using our supply forms and publications is my guide in order to process different function of

supply activity, the exact guidance for all supply related transaction. Inventory, procurement,

shipping and receiving procedure, handling fragile and delicate items, the proper stow of

material according to their classification, classification of hazardous items, disposition

instruction, notices and directives, supply commands and administration, as well as the term

condition’s and policy.

With all this knowledge of experienced, I also assigned to the different collateral jobs as Logistic

Specialist.:

-Open purchase personnel - responsible of requisitioning of material not

covered with the operating budget procedure, means using method of payment using government

credit card provided by the command.

-Hazmat Control Officer - responsible of all hazardous material onboard from

small paint brush, to the proper stowing of different gas cylinder.

-OSHA Training Person - giving training of mishap and safety

procedure aboard the ship.

- Forklift operator - 3 years driver inside the warehouse when I was

assigned in the Marine Base Okinawa Japan, (license expired, but can obtain if needed)).

-Supply financial management - review, adjust, audit input, study operating budget

report, liquidation and allocation on the contract of materials and services, and consolidate

general ledger transaction, of all supply financial report.

-Search and Survey - of all deficiency material received, by quantity or

quality, survey all missing items specially the high value merchandized, or missing items that can

be of personal used.

With that said, my performance as logistic specialist clerk into the US Navy, have set exemplary

to my supervisor and subordinate, achieving command goal and accomplishing task specially in

the critical timely manners. And as a results receiving various awards and commendation from

our command, and advancement in rank (level) to Logistic Specialist Second Class.
