Summary of Qualifications:

• Software Quality Assurance (QA) and testing experience with a leading bank for two years.

• Hands on experience in execution of QA and testing processes, test strategies and plans, requirement

analysis, test scenario and test case Design, test case execution, bug documentation and bug tracking

system.

• Good understanding of Software Development Life cycle as well as Software Testing Life Cycle.

• Expertise in Software Testing of both GUI and Non GUI applications.

• Proficient in Server / Database Testing (SQL), System Testing, Functional Testing and Regression

Testing.

Requirements study & Planning – Analyze and understand the Change requests.

Preparation of Test Requirement Analysis document, Test Plan Creation.

Test case preparation Identifying test cases for each change requests and updating the master

document on a regular basis. Review and sign off from business teams.

Test execution – Execute tests cases; carry out functional and regression testing. Validating the

functionality of backend servers (Database testing) through SQL queries and UNIX commands.

Defect tracking and reporting Tracking the Defects, reporting them to IT test lead.

Retesting the defects once they are fixed and have been released in the build letter by the

developer.

Customer service: Handle client inquiries and communicated bank’s product/services to the

client in a clear and timely manner. Deal with customers complaints either on face to face basis or

in writing.

Reconciliation: Reconcile all bank accounts at closing time every day to ensure their correctness

and accuracy. Collect all non performing loans and terminate all accounts belonging to any

deceased or bankrupt customers.

Update and Use Relevant Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of available bank products,

processing procedures and general department guidelines. Using relevant information and

individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or

standards.

Education: Bachelor of Engineering – Computer Science June 2010, India

Additional skills:

Proficient in all Microsoft packages like Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Internet.

Able to manage terms and keep staff motivation high at all times.

A critical thinker and have excellent customer service skill.
