CAREER OBJECTIVES
Looking for a challenging position in IT as Application Developer that will
utilize my experience, skills and knowledge obtained through my recent
studies.
BACKGROUND
Having good knowledge in software development, I currently maintain in-
house system developed by previous programmer. Two of the most important
computerized systems of the company, first is an in-house systems' for
Order Processing & Production (developed using Visual Basic & SQL Server
database) and second is a third-party financial systems' BusinessVision2013
(with Pervasive PSQL database backend), are being maintain, updates and
address all issues by myself. Add-in reports are also being created using
SSRS for business analysis.
As an IT Dept - Office In Charge, company's IT projects were successfully
implemented like the company's B2B electronic trading with big retail
chains using SPS Commerce EDI Systems, an Apple apps Prism used by our
salesreps nationwide and the marketing software called Constant Contact
using an e-mail blast for advertising. All of these third party systems
used our database at the back-end and conformed to the Business
Requirements and Functional/Technical Specifications. I also lead the
transition team for the recent upgrade of the company server to the new
Lenovo server loaded with Windows SBS 2011 OS and MS SQL Server 2008 R2
database from the old clone computer that runs an outdated Windows Server
2000 and SQL Server 2000.
Besides from maintaining and continuing company's computerized projects, I
also do the network administration and office management.
RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE
IT Dep't Officer In-Charge
Picture Depot Inc. - Toronto, ON - Feb 2008 to Present
Currently handle the IT Department requirements and projects after its
Senior Developer left the company 5 years ago. Responsibilities include
maintenance of the in-house and third-party systems and have it available
to all users. These include installations, updates, user's set-up and
permissions, backup and restore. Creates custom reports, in tabular, matrix
and dashboard format, by utilizing the data available from computerized
systems database. I also analyze database/tables structures for correct
report parameters and output. Provide technical support such as
troubleshooting of computer problems, network connections and viruses,
software/hardware installations, e-mail acc2ounts,
website/software/hardware updates, and assisting users in their software
queries. Set-up and maintain user network accounts and backup systems for
file servers.
Current projects include converting the current in-house system to a
Web-based system using ASP.NET, MVC, CSHTML tools and SQL Server database.
This latest systems once developed will be linked to our current website
that accept on-line orders.
Senior Computer Programmer
Yakult Philippines, Inc. - Manila, Philippines - Feb 1993 to Apr 2002
Handled systems development to simplify, automate and streamline
company's operations. Development was mostly on financial and sales
related systems like accounts receivable and payable, cheque writer,
payroll, fixed assets, sales commissions and attendance monitoring
applications. Initiated planning based on business requirements, coding,
unit testing, implementation, documentation and handled training for users.
Addressed additional enhancements and helped in initial data preparation
for the proper and correct set-up of database. Assisted in the
implementation of the company's ERP named GLOVIA that ran in Windows NT OS,
with Oracle database and Cognos Impromptu report writer. Responsible for
the operations of SVINet and SmartLink project of the company's EDI using
the software GENTRAN: Director for Windows by Sterling Commerce.

Supervised and strictly monitored staffs, that the assigned jobs were
satisfactorily accomplished and deadlines were met. Efficiently monitored
and reported bank's daily transactions and balance to the president of the
company. Coordinated with company's financial comptroller for any bank-
related reports. Collected quotations from different suppliers and
negotiated best pricing before making purchases. Monitored purchase
discounts. Handled importation of raw materials and opening of LC. Made
