Professional Experience
Software Engineer IV, Boeing Company
8/09 - 3/13
Integrated Defense System
Operational Mission Simulator (OMS) for Ground Support Segment (GSS)
Responsibilities include: modified existing code to work in different
configuration. Integrated ACSSIM with other components of OMS GSS
software. ACSSIM CSC simulates the provision of ADIRU, FMC, and RTP ARINC
429 Messages to the Mission Computer Subsystem (MCS) to support training of
Aircraft Navigation features.
ACSIM is also responsible for providing Secondary Power Distribute Assembly
(SPDA) power to Aircraft Identical Equipment (AIE) in lab environment.
The software is developed in C++ and will be executed on both Linux O/S and
Windows XP O/S.
Supporting all three AEW&C programs (Australia, Korea, and Turkey)
Software Engineer IV, Boeing Company
7/05 -6/09
Integrated Defense System
Radar Sensor System
Responsibilities include: designed coded, testing and integrating the APS-
137 radar system with Radar Sensor Manager Software which is part of the
Mission Computing and Display Subsystem (MCDS). Boeing is responsible for
designing the entire MCDS software while Raytheon is responsible for
supplying the APS-137 radar hardware. Also helped with coding/testing
other sensors as well as other group within MCDS. Java programming
language was used on this project.
Staff Engineer, Honeywell International Corporation
4/01 - 6/05
Aerospace Electronic Systems (AES)
A member of the Next Generation Radar (NGR), my responsibility includes:
software design requirement document (SDRD) using Doors, software
implementation, confident testing and Verification and Validation (V&V)
testing of the software. The NGR s/w utilizes Motorola power PC processor
as well as DSP processors. C and C++ programming language were used.
Senior Software Engineer, Paradigm4 Inc.
9/00 - 3/01
Responsibility included: Setting up the development lab for Sentrol
Application and upgrading the production Sentrol Application Software.
Sentrol is an application which receives wireless alarm / test message from
the skybox, a backup wireless signal to the land-line alarm system. The
software is written in C++ on NT platform using Microsoft Visual Studio.
Skybox is provisioned via Sentrol website.
Software Engineer IV, Boeing Company
12/97 - 9/00
Software Engineer for Electronic Products, S/W Tools Group.
Responsible for writing s/w tools to support real-time embedded s/w, mostly
VAX VMS DCL scripts and UNIX shell scripts plus C programming. The tool is
an outer shell for the Rational Apex / TestMate product. The tool is used
by test group to perform computer performance verification (CPV) on the
Line Replaceable Unit (LRU).
Responsibilities include: implemented, coded and tested ARINC 429 I/O for
767 Flap/Slat Electronic Unit (FSEU). The programming language to use for
this program was ADA. This is new AVIONICS software to be used on the new
767-400 ER (extended range) model of the 767.
Software Engineer, Boeing Company
10/96 - 12/97
Software Engineer for Command & Control Software (CCS) for Space Station
Responsibilities include: designed, coded and integrated I/O for CCS
Software for the C&C Multiplexer/Demultiplexer Module (MDM).
1553 MIL-STD buses are used. There are eleven 1553 buses connected between
C&C MDMs and the external devices.
Software Engineer, Boeing Company
10/92 - 10/96
Software Engineer for Warning Electronic System for 777 Airplanes
Responsibilities include: designed, coded and integrated ARINC 429 S/W,
which is used by Warning Electronic Unit (WEU) to communicate between the
WEU channels. Motorola processor MC68030 is used for the WEU LRU. Ada
programming is used.
Responsibilities include: designing, coding and integration of the WES
System BITE Test S/W for the WEU LRU.
Also responsible for building the WEU OPS S/W for the WEU Design and
Factory BITE Software (FBS) teams to insure the configuration management is
not lost.
