QA section.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
MOLDING TECHNICIAN (2004 – 2006)
Operates molding injection machine: nissei, JSW, Sumitomo and Toyo machine including
the different dryers for heating up of virgin/recycled materials, heating up of Die using
thermo controller or cooling water/chiller for other kind of model.
Perform set-up and take-out of molding die by using over head crane.
Making condition or command to follow the machine and synchronized pneumatic robot
that will get the plastic inside the die.
Setting of timer that continuously get the product without any trouble or alarm level to
the conveyor, to check the operator, measurement by Q.A. if it is good for production.
DAILY ACTIVITIES:
Conduct mold set-up.
Conduct mold trial.
Conducts adjustment of injection parameter.
Conduct machine checking status.
Fills up machine & equipment record form.
Conduct cleaning of crusher.
Conduct cleaning of material dryer.
Conduct material loading during production.
Conduct cleaning of mold in production.
Checking of mold temperature.
Implement corrective/preventive actions for lot-out.

Perform routine preventative / corrective maintenance on injection molding
machines, dies, robotics, facilities and other support equipment.
Dismantle, adjust, repair, assemble and rebuild molds and equipment according to
layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manual, rough sketches or drawings.
Lead or support troubleshooting and mechanical repair of equipment and
processes that may arise during molding process.
Use of machine shop equipment and fabricating tools to create or repair parts
Maintain logs and records used in recording, tracking and improving equipment

Conduct repair on damage mold / die and make countermeasure to prevent
reoccurrence.
Complete maintenance work order requests when required in a timely,

Ability to read, understand and create/modify CAD data, hydraulic, pneumatic,
and piping diagrams, and electrical schematics.
Ability to research parts, drawings, diagrams and schematics.
Prepare and update monthly maintenance plan and daily maintenance record.
Ability to work SAFELY by following policies and procedures in an industrial
environment.
Implement countermeasures of daily problems encountered in line.
Implements corrective / preventive actions in production problems.
Checking of machine status & reports to Supervisors/Manager any machine
abnormalities.
Conducts trials on newly arrived molds/die.
Adjust machine parameter if needed to maintain target quality in terms of
appearance and dimension.
Fill-up Mold/Die Sample Inspection Request Card.
Make & implement improvements.
Implementation of 5S activities.
Inspect newly arrived mold/die before conducting 4M trials.
Performs other responsibilities as per instructed by supervisor and manager.

Presently working at Brother Industry Philippines Incorporated as a production
molding junior supervisor and I designated to lead the role and to lead the
responsibility of working in mold maintenance section. Our company is a new
company and as a matter of fact we transfer in our first built building factory only last
February of 2013, Here in this company as of now our main product that plan to
produce is PRINTER. But of course as years goes by, the company plan to produce
other product such as sewing machines, and other electronic devices and equipment. I
joined in this company last January 02, 2013.
