and provide input on cost-saving alternate approaches to printing projects.

o Write production work orders for jobs, including detailing production process to be used by pre-press, production, and

f inishing and create mockups, if needed.

o Determine appropriate layout for awarded projects to produce quality results while minimizing labor, paper, and ink costs.

o Develop specifications for all purchased material and outside labor for each project, including screen printing.

o Respond to questions from outside vendors, pre-press, production, and finishing as well as customer service.

o Responsible for minor maintenance of duplicating equipment by solving paper jams, placing service calls and routine

o Maintaining inventory of print supplies, stock paper, tab supply in duplicating center, drilling machine, handling special

t ypes of printing such as large paper printing or manual/handbook sized printing and binding.

o Communicating effectively with the General Manager/Owner, the Sales Team, and the Production Team, informed and

updated them regularly to guarantee that procedures outlined in the company manuals.

o Maintaining production control records and providing information to sales representatives, customers and management

w ith regard to delivery dates, schedules and operating problems.

o Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the company’s commitment to quality, continuous

i mprovement and respect for individuals.
