Program/Project Manager; United States Armed Forces

Identify, analyze, and prioritize opportunities for improvement for Division Surgeons Office’s Master

Resilience Training (MRT) program, implement those changes, monitor and track performance standards,

and prepare reports for the Division Surgeon’s office. Manage the initiation, planning, development, and

execution of the projects pertaining to The Program. Assist the Division Surgeon with planning,

development, and execution of the MRT program including manpower utilization and administrative

internal controls.

Facilitated and managed the Comprehensive Soldier Fitness (CSF) for 2nd Infantry Division (2ID)

which consisted of approximately 10,000 soldiers

Developed surveys & reports that were used to quantify results to improve the program’s content,

implementation, manpower utilization, and administrative internal controls.

Developed tracking database to statistically analyze results from course surveys and reports by

division’s brigades and company’s demographical information

Increased program awareness and utilization by expanding the program to spouses of soldiers

through various radio and television commercials

Synchronized the planning and execution of the MRT courses with senior leadership of major

within Quality Assurance based on an audit I performed of the current work flow process in

place. The project identified $20,000,000 of erroneously paid claims with the current

adjudication process resulting in an approximate $1,000,000/yr. in ongoing savings

Managed software conversion and implementation projects after determining the business users

usage of the software in question was not meeting their requirements resulting in the overall

reduction of costs to various business units ultimately retiring and replacing existing software

with more robust reporting tools which allowed the most effective and efficient usage of company

resources available

Managed an enterprise wide systems reengineering project to increase efficiency of 30+ systems

which allowed claims to be processed with a larger monetary amount by modifying the number of

lines per claim to increase the number of procedure and diagnosis fields, and dollar amount fields

therefore reducing the number of associates needed to process claims leading to overall cost

savings

Managed server deployments, migrations, and upgrades to increase the over all capacity and

effectiveness of the existing infrastructure in Test, Development/QA, and Production

environments by analyzing the hardware and developing detailed infrastructure designs, pilot

implementations, test plans, and full deployment to production environment
