3/2010-6/2013: Hillman Group- Account Development Representative

I was responsible for managing new accounts by warm & cold calling, using Social Media

Websites such as Linked In, Facebook & Twitter and by setting up a telephone sales strategy. I

have found new accounts and have displayed our products and information using Social Media.

The “research profile” I have on Linked In gets me in the back door of a company and enables

me to find and connect to their employees and their decision makers without a gatekeeper to

slow me down. I am currently connected to over 5 million people and their companies. When

you have a connection to the group you have targeted, it becomes easier to find the person you

need to talk to and accomplish your goal. This process makes the selling process quicker and

easier. I created and maintained profiles using Goldmine, a database management system.

Social Media allowed me to achieve 110 % of goal every quarter from the day I started. Other

responsibilities included making sure our publications and manuals were up to date and sent to

our customers, collections on overdue accounts, solving customer issues, and follow-up on

2/2008-10/2009 Delta Diversified / MRI of Akron - Recruiter

Recruiting of medical, scientific, sales and management personnel in the Pharmaceutical, and

Paper industries by the solicitation of job orders from hiring authorities; setting up interviews,

closing the deal, and maintaining and developing a database over the phone. MRI - I added

management professionals in the Plastic Industry. Agency record was set for the first year of

employment. My first candidate was placed within first sixty days of my hiring.

5/1983-2/2008: Ford Motor, Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep, Volkswagen, Hyundai, and Kia -

Commercial Fleet Sales Manager, Fleet Salesman, Leasing Manager, Aftermarket Sales

Manager, Customer Service Manager, and Salesman.

I was responsible for the Sales of Fleet & Retail cars and trucks nationwide of all makes and

models of the dealer that I was working for, and for the retail sales of used vehicles. I sold

extended warranties, aftermarket products, and telephones for cars. Performed all of the follow

up necessary to make sure each vehicle was cleaned up, licensed, titled, serviced, and delivered.

I followed a customer base of over 100 companies and their decision makers and maintained

contact with over 1000 retail customers. I have sold over 5000 vehicles over the course of 26

years in automobile sales. I was salesman of the year (sold the most vehicles in a years period of

time) for 17 of those 26 years. I maintained the highest levels of customer service and received

recognition many times as being the best in the region by Ford Motor Company. I achieved their

highest award "Legend/Leader" status in 2000. In 2001 I was the second largest volume

salesman for Ford Fleet in the United States selling over 700 vehicles nationwide. You don’t

always achieve volume and profit, but I always attempted to include both in every deal that I

made.

I worked for Marshall Ford (9 years), Jim Marsh Ford (11 years), Clarke

Ford/Chrysler/Dodge/VW and Kia (3 years), Royal Dodge/Chevrolet, Fred Martin Chrysler/

Dodge/ Jeep, and Great Lakes Hyundai.

Awards: 300/500 Masters Club, Sales Legend/leader, and Master Salesman, Commercial Fleet
