Duties and responsibilities:
Manage Inventory and Production Control functions and personnel for both Manufacturing Plant operations.
Develop best-fit Master Schedule to support customer requested ship dates with available material
and production capacity. Develop/Implement/Drive processes that support lean manufacturing initiatives
throughout Heatcraft Columbus Operations. Maintain current BPCS System parameters and determine and
implement best fit material strategy for all situations using KANBAN, Min Max, Sequence Scheduling, Safety
Stock or MRP. Lead weekly SIOP meeting and maintain and distribute SIOP and Product Lead-Time reports.
Currently have the responsibility of leading the Plan-To-Make SAP Implementation work stream team.

Developed Production Control procedures that supported the following metric improvements; On time shipping

Successfully rolled 8 full time positions into the Production Control team of 7 while supporting an increase of
over tripling the overall production volumes in six years by automating manual process and streamlining others.
Implemented automated sequence scheduling system through directly linking mainframe tables through
Microsoft Access to schedulers and supervisors. Able to reduce Master Schedulers group by 30% while picking
up all subassembly scheduling and eliminating all scheduling transposition errors due to automation.
Developed/Implemented/Maintain SIOP Reports to support two divisions that are updated through Microsoft
Access Database that is linked to ERP Tables and our Sales forecast.
Reduced purchasing stockroom and fabricated parts stockroom by 20% and 30% respectively due mostly to
sequence scheduling.
All improvements were achieved with modest BOM accuracy by setting up systematic double checks on data
and manual review of schedules by product knowledgeable associates.
Developed sequence schedules for FAB parts that supported our Lean Manufacturing initiatives with a low
volume and high variation product mix.

Bergquist Company - 1999 to 2003
Duties and responsibilities:
Manage all material functions/personnel including; forecasts, order acknowledgement, scheduling/planning,
purchasing and all inventory/shipping/receiving functions. Develop and implement company wide process
and procedures that would allow The Bergquist Company to move from a manual system to an MRP driven
company. Responsible for all inventory levels and accuracy (raw/WIP/FG) as well as on time shipments.
Achievements:
Setup BPCS MRP system along with the processes and procedures and ran MRP within 3 months.
Created SFC tool in Microsoft Access that tracked every order through every work cell with real time updates,
point and click time stamped functionality that supported MRP dates.
Materials Manager, Bergquist Company 1999 - 2003

Established materials group that supported an 85% growth in sales from '98 to '99 and a 95% growth in sales
from '99 to '00.
Creation of reports that tracked daily shipments to plan/backlog as well as shipment/backlog by customer.
Creation of procedures and database to support sales monthly forecast as well as conversion to bi-monthly
demand for MRP.
Master Scheduler
Onan Corporation - 1995 to 1999
Duties and responsibilities:
Break down gross forecast into product line mix and load into master production schedule. Manage inventory
turns and levels (raw/WIP/FG) through self generated queries and reports. Establish and monitor reports for
operations actual performance to customer request and acknowledged delivery. Schedule all non-configurable
orders and all special requests. Materials representative on "Order Fulfillment" Re-Engineering team.
Achievements:
Creation of reports to monitor inventory levels and turns for all product lines.
Established procedures for the first spec advance on a reduced lead-time production line.
Creation of reports that track and manage the consumption of forecast at the configurable level.
Creation of reports to assist logistics with upcoming shipments and containerization issues.
Creation of procedures and database to support off site warehousing of purchased materials.
Creation of procedures and database to run daily MRP in Microsoft Access due to actual MRP system only
ran on weekends.
Master Scheduler
Cray Research Inc - 1987 to 1995
Duties and responsibilities:
Establish new master schedule (product mix, system power ups, ship dates, etc.), load master ship schedule
on an MRP system and reconfigure systems in check out due to configuration changes. Coordination and
facilitation of scheduling activities for new product line integration from prototype to production. Maintain leveled
production schedule for manufacturing while meeting the companies goals of on time shipments and inventory
management.
Achievements:
Creation of Cray's first attempt at building product at a rate, instead of by system BOM's.
Instrumental in setting up Systems Test inventory system which gave us the ability to track product by serial
number, which has resulted in more accurate and timely inventory.
Scheduled all companies production system modules which were valued between $100-180 Million in WIP
and Systems Test area.

COMPUTER SKILLS
I have over 25 years of hands on MRP experience with full system implementation experience. I have found
that I'm usually the company expert in Microsoft Access and database management. I also have a solid working
knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word along with numerous hang on query writing software packages such
as Showcase and Cognos.
