Team Leadership: Platoon Sergeant and Team Leader of 14 man Protective Services Detachment
Platoon tasked with guarding the Brigade Command Team in train up and support of combat operation in
Afghanistan.
Trainer: Established and trained the Protective Security Detachment for a theater-wide Mission
Readiness Exercise to prepare for combat operations in Afghanistan. Facilitated training on vehicle
movement drills, Attack on principal, dismounted movement formations, advance operations, medical and
Counter Ambush Assault team operations.
Drill Sergeant, Georgia July 2008 to January 2011
Trainer: Performed readiness training for Infantry Training Platoon consisting of up to 60 Initial Entry
Training personnel, each a 14-week cycle. Transformed civilians into highly-competent, honorable and

Section Leader: Managed the duties as a Bradley fighting vehicle section leader in a forward deployed
Mechanized Infantry Company in the republic of Korea; responsible for the health, welfare, training, and
discipline of a 6 personnel Bradley section; ensures accountability and serviceability of all assigned
vehicles and equipment valued at over 3.0 million dollars.
Achievement Medal Recipient: Awarded impact Army Achievement Medal for leading a crew to
achieving a distinguished 10 perfect score on Fall Gunnery fiscal year 2005.
Personnel Recovery Team Leader, Korea February 2004 to June 2005
Team Leader: Airborne Pathfinder and Personnel Recovery Security Team Leader in the only dedicated
overwater and overland aviation personnel Recovery Company in the U.S. Army. Responsible for
helicopter landing zone reconnaissance, aircraft terminal guidance, external load operations, Combat
Search and Rescue, DART, and personnel recovery team operations, responsible for the health, welfare,
training, discipline, of 3 subordinates and life support and equipment valued at $300,000 dollars.
Operator: Spearheaded the integration, organization, and training of the Army’s first Overwater and
Overland Personnel Recovery unit. Coordinated and conducted five search and rescue operations with
United States Air Force Rescort A-10's.
Firearms: Trained his entire Team in advanced Rifle and Pistol Marksmanship to qualify expert with
primary and secondary weapon systems. Conducted Special Operations training on airfield security and
seizure.
Airborne Infantry Squad Leader, Career Counselor, NC December 1999 to January 2004
Squad Leader: Managed duties as a Squad Leader in an Airborne Infantry Company capable of
deploying worldwide by land, sea or air within 18 hours of notification in support of contingency or combat
operations. Had accountability for over $120,000 dollars worth of organic equipment.
Commanding General Award Winner: Won Commanding Generals retention award for championing a
152% mission success rate for fiscal year 2001. This action was key to national security by retaining
numerous paratroopers on duty for the start of the Global War on Terrorism operations.
Squad Leader: Secured US Army Special Operations training in house/building raids, vehicle/bus
assaults, hostage rescue, and door breaching . Advanced training in M-4 Carbine, 9MM Pistol, shoot
