Hello perspective new employer,
I am looking for a new opportunity in the microbiology field in the Chicago area.
Your Microbiology lab analyst job posting on Indeed.com described an in telligent,
personable, and efficient worker. I feel like I am the person you are looking for.
At my current laboratory, I take initiative all the t ime to ensure that the work is
done correctly and efficiently. I am always looking for ways to improve our
p rocesses.
I work with a t ight-knit group of t rained workers and feel as though I am a go to
t ype person in every department I work in. New hires come to me with questions
because I am willing to take the time to explain our processes and encourage them
i n their t raining. Often I am reminding others of maintaining our processes
correctly in an upbeat and positive way.
M ul ti tasking is a way of life for me at the laboratory. I feel after 5 years of
experience that I have mastered the abili ty to balance the quality of work I do with
t he amount of t ime i t takes me to complete i t. I do not sacrifice either. And when I
do make an error, I am the fi rst to admit i t and work with management to find a
way to keep it from happening again.
T here are some intangible qualities that just do not fi t into a resume. I am f lexible
w ith my schedule and often help coworkers who need me to pick up their shifts. I
w ill stay late when a department needs extra help. I remain calm under pressure,
be i t a last minute back order, an especially high work load, or a t ight time
restriction.
T hank you for your time and consideration,
