• Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to, providing animal care to non-

human primates and other animals in compliance with AALAC requirements

• Perform daily work involving the handling of genetically engineered animal models, with

immuno-compromised health status, animals recovering from invasive procedures and

neonates.

• Performs animal husbandry – which includes prepare/dispense food to assigned animals

feed, sweep, shovel, scrape, pressure wash and prepare occupancy cages and animal

facility areas; report deviation from normal conditions; catch and restrain animals in

accordance with protocols
