Directed full cycle Executive Search services for placement of
management and other senior personnel for manufacturing companies
across the United States.
Oldcastle Adams Products Company, Morrisville, NC 2003-2009
Vice President of Operations/Human Resources Director
Reported to the President with profit and loss responsibility for
company operations with 17 locations (7 production sites with 16
operations and 10 retail/distribution facilities). Led company through
major growth period as sales grew from $60M in 2002 to $122M in 2008
and profits grew from $4.4M to $16.5M. Specific achievements include:
. Achieved record production levels at 102% of rated capacity.
. Selected to an Oldcastle national team to develop an
organizational efficiency/ operational development corporate
program that was implemented at all 150 production sites
throughout the US and Canada. $25M savings from the program were
documented in 2006 and 2007.
. Selected as one of four members of national procurement team that
developed procurement programs with major supplies of equipment,
repair parts and consumable supplies for production that have
$645M of documented savings.
. Directed human resources programs at all 17 sites overseeing
recruiting, personal development, training, and compensation
programs. All programs developed and run as Director with only a
HR Generalist in headquarters and none at sites.

Reported to the President supervised facility with 48 personnel
including office, finance, operations, distribution and maintenance
personnel. Managed production and distribution operations to support
commercial, residential and resale markets including major customers
Home Depot, Walmart and Lowes.
. Profit and loss responsibility for $50M business. Increased
profit margins by 5% per year through use of 5S and Six Sigma
principles.
. Developed maintenance program and spare parts program.
Established maintenance schedule and increased uptime by 12% in

Premix Industries, Inc. (Quikrete Licensee), Chesapeake, VA
1998-2001
General Manager, Clinton, MD
Reported to the Director of Operations as General Manager of
production/distribution facility in Clinton, MD.
Selected to turn around operation that had not been profitable in 7
prior years. Within 9 months had achieved profitability by
establishing standards and controls, starting a preventative
maintenance and personnel training programs.
Specific accomplishments:
. Recycled over 15,000 tons of material that had been considered
waste adding $350K directly to the bottom line.
. Established maintenance and training programs that increased
throughput by 18%. Programs were implemented at all Premix
locations.
. Analyzed entire company operations to identify projects for
improvements in efficiency.
. Completed major project to establish Bills of Materials for all
products at all Premix facilities to properly track profitability
and improve available data.
