PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Direct Supply Inc, Milwaukee, WI 2011 to 2013
Leading solutions provider in the long term care and assisted living market
providing services ranging from healthcare products to equipments and
services. It is a fast growing market leader nationally known for its
excellent customer service.
Integration Leader - Third Party Applications
Responsible for managing and executing the integration of all third party
applications into the application stack of the organization. The role
calls for working with Business Analysts, technical resources and
functional stakeholders internally and with software application vendors
externally. The scope of the role encompassed understanding requirements,
planning, resourcing and executing integration projects on time.
. Led, researched and implemented best of breed third party solutions
for Direct Supply's Shared Services Groups like Supply Chain and
Finance. Though the solution research was not part of my
responsibilities, by being proactive and leveraging my experience I
was able to reduce the project timeline and deliver aggressively to
our business customers.
. Implemented a Single Sign On Solution across the organization with
limited resources and to an aggressive timeline. The Single Sign On
project was important to our leadership especially with a companywide
emphasis on moving towards cloud based solutions.
. Led the IS part of the implementation of Salesforce.com for one of our
Strategic Business Units (SBUs). On my part, this called for quickly
ramping up on Salesforce which as an application was critical to the
organization's road map.
Johnson Controls, Milwaukee, WI 2009 to 2011
Johnson Controls is a globally diversified company headquartered in
Milwaukee offering products & solutions in three segments: Energy and
operational efficiency for buildings, lead acid batteries and advanced
batteries for hybrid and electric vehicles, and automobile interiors.
IT Project Leader
Served as the consultant Project Manager with responsibility to interface
with the business customers and lead multiple IT projects of differing
size and scope (from Ideation thru' design and development to validation
and launch) for the Business in close coordination with the Project
Engineering (Infrastructure) team, business stakeholders and the PMO; Own
the delivered solutions in terms of issue management, upgrades and
business customer interface.

. Implemented a Secure File Transfer Protocol based solution for
Treasury that was meant to mitigate SOX audit concerns around our
Treasury Payment transaction processing. This was a high impact
project that was critical to the Executive Leadership team.
. Successfully managed a tool rollout for the Corporate Accounting team.
This application tool addressed their requirements for an automated
reconciliation solution for all their General Ledger extracts from
their Oracle General Ledger.
. Implemented a global file share rollout for Corporate Tax that was
architected to enable their China tax team and the US tax team to be
on the same file share while working off their local servers. The
solution addressed their performance need which was a showstopper for
them especially during tax season and month closing.
. Working in close coordination with the Active directory team, moved
all the existing portfolio of financial applications to AD
authentication away from application specific authentication.
. Established an engagement process with vendors that put in place a
regular cadence for follow-ups, issue resolution and staying on top of
all project deliverables.
Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), Milwaukee, WI 2007 to 2008
MCW / Froedtert is Wisconsin's #1 Trauma center and a premier research
center for health care treatment in areas like Neurology, Endocrinology and
Communicable Diseases.
Production Support / Operational Excellence Leader - Oracle ERP
Responsible for overall IS operational excellence as related to
supporting the Oracle ERP installed base for the college, defining and
maintaining the Service Levels for the business customers, instituting
processes and metrics, managing offshore and onsite development
resources, and for performing the role of Client Service liaison between
the IS team and the business team. In this role I was also the IS point
of contact for external IT audits. I reported to the VP & CIO.
. Established Project Portfolio Dashboard reporting for all vital IS
projects. This provided sufficient visibility to the executive
management team on resource usage, project status, risks and project
milestones.
. Started a Voice of Customer (VOC) approach in working with the
internal customers. This was not only well received but was
instrumental in helping initiate Service Level Agreements (SLA) with
them that helped create for IS a good framework for meeting customer
satisfaction.
. Actively worked with the DBAs and the Unix System administrators and
setup an instance management strategy that resulted in an intuitive
use of different Oracle instances for the user base, optimal hardware
use for the datacenter and fast cloning times.
. Managed the Oracle 2008 RUP upgrade project. This brought the 11i
Installed base to the most current patch set level and facilitated
better support from Oracle.
. Established better documentation rigor within the team. Championed and
instituted the use of Application Implementation Methodology (AIM)
documentation required thru' design, testing and post go-live support
for all IS deliverables. Kept the team abreast of all technology
advances like SOA and BPEL by attending user groups and conferences as
well as encouraging them to attend such events by adequately budgeting
for team learning.
. Owned and drove better data reporting to the Dean and the executive
team by managing remediation of all reports due to a new HR work
structure renovation across the college.
. Successfully setup a global prioritization process for all production
support change requests. Acted as a single point of contact for the
business users and mentored the development team in the triage and
resolution of these change requests. The streamlined process resulted
in a reduction of change requests backlog by almost 60%.
. Started an initiative to migrate some of the Oracle's solutions
implemented to an SOA based architecture based on Oracle's BPEL. This
positioned IS in a position to be ready to decouple existing PL/SQL
based solutions and adapt to a BPO initiative started by the CFO.

Concept (POC) of proposed solutions, and lead the ERP releases.
. Won management awards for outstanding contribution on the GEMS-IT
Oracle 11i upgrade and the Instrumentarium Oracle integration
projects.
. Led the Siebel-Oracle interfaces remediation for Instrumentarium
business. Delivered the design and MD60 documentation. The seamless
remediation was delivered with zero impact to the Field engineer sales
and service business in spite of major configuration differences in
accounting and inventory in the ERP instances for the two businesses.
. Delivered a common Order management solution for the service parts
business. This web based bolt-on tool delivers Order management
functionality using Oracle APIs to meet the business CTQ (Critical To
Quality) of 2 minutes per each order flow from OM thru' shipping.

and optimize performance showstoppers. It reduced the turnaround time
by as much as 90% for our support team in fixing performance issues.
. Managed the war room of 25 contractors for year-end close providing
24X7 production support to Europe, Asia and the Americas users. Led a
six-sigma project that resulted in a process improvement reducing the
