CADDS 4) of local penetrations ship wide. Revised models and drawings via
p roduction and (Navy) customer change to support class design of Aegis Destroyers
D DG-79 th ru DDG-83. Also, revised 2D arrangements of equipment and cableway
by using AutoCAD “x-ref” drawing composites; in addition to maintaining the
electrical 2D part library for AutoCAD design zones in support of class design of
D DG-85 th ru DDG-96.
Shortly after detail design was started for LCS-1, created 3D models and 2D
d rawings using AutoCAD/Shipconstructor and then t ransferred to the Hampton
office to do same when the Brunswick office closed.
