raw material, work-in-process finished goods, and distribution
inventories. Some of the topics discussed were: forecasting, cycle
counting, lot sixing JLT integration, safety stock, and customer
service.
Material & Capacity Requirements Planning:
The study of Material Requirements Planning :(MRP) and Capacity
Requirements Planning (CRP). This course covers the scheduling and
release for make or buy orders, and the scheduling of fabrication
and/or assembly labor and equipment.
Master Planning:
Develops the concepts of overall scheduling including: forecast demand
management, production planning, long range capacity planning, master
production scheduling, and final assembly scheduling.
