• Plan and assist in development of geospatial web applications

• Create and prepare maps for customer presentations that illustrate items such as traditional navigable

waterways along main rivers in the district, reference maps of the locations of NAO Active Civil

Projects within watershed boundaries, congressional districts, real estate property boundaries,

utility data, and environmental features such as national wetlands

• Convert CAD as-build data into GIS for project analysis

• Directly work with Virginia Department of Transportation to assess outfalls within their right-of-way

in order for crews to clean up brush and debris with all information being tracked in a GPS unit

• Evaluate the needs of customers to carry out tasks and assist section with other Geospatial needs

• Foster partnerships across all levels of government to promote, utilize, and assist in managing

geospatial data

SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Lead Geospatial Specialist over USACE North Atlantic Division for Super Storm Sandy Relief,

Brooklyn, NY, October 27th, 2012 – November 27th, 2012

• Led and worked with a team of GIS Specialists to assist in unwatering, debris removal, emergency power,

personnel accountability, public relations and other disaster missions

• Hand selected to be liaison between GIS team and all other entities involved in Sandy relief

• Organized daily GIS briefs attended by top ranking DOD officials as well as non-military personnel

Security Clearance

• ANACI U.S. Government Secret Clearance – Granted on 23 February 2011 valid for 10 years

Toastmasters International Club – Norfolk, VA, January, 2012 – Present

• Elected Secretary of Club 6822 and currently hold that rank in which responsibilities are file

management, weekly meeting minutes, membership record keeping and executive committee meeting
