Responsibilities include scheduling production on five filler lines of over
135 SKU's daily to support customers and other Dean Food branches.
Ordering all raw materials, ingredients, and packaging for Production to
run what is ordered on the production schedule. Inventory Management of
all raw materials, ingredients, and packaging. Completed warehouse
optimization project which included 5S, organizing, developing a quarantine
area for obsolete items, identification of those items as well as obtaining
MSDS and disposal, and inventory reduction.

Cost savings responsibility. Managed two buyers at two plant locations in
Ohio. Inventory optimization, asset recovery, vendor management, supplier
quality audits, non-conformance management of incoming materials.

Worked with Corporate IT to implement SAP across the production facility.
I was an SAP trainer and power user. I also oversaw the local buyers,
shipping and receiving technicians, clerks, and material coordinators for
day to day operations. We ordered all raw materials for production, MRO
supplies, office supplies, services, and handled all outbound finished
goods shipments. I was a part of the local plant leadership team.

Responsibilities included strategic planning for global buying of MRO
commodities, developing cost savings measures, leadership of 40+ employees
at 9 manufacturing locations, budgeting, E-procurement, global optimization

improvements. Also responsible for setting up the US Service Center to
support 7 manufacturing sites in North America. The service center was
designed to process purchase orders, expedite, and handle receiving and

the manufacturing sites to receive their buy-in, and then implemented the
service center in July 2003.
