fast and real time sales display of data. This migration will save cost

for Greenplum server licensing and node maintenance cost. This POC is for

Greenplum with faster speed of processing.

products sold by Sears. This tool is used to getting third party vendor

who is providing support to the products and upgrade details of parts,

database if validations are correct in their provided data like location,

Unit, part number.

Spring batches used for large data processing and Restful web service used

to expose some of the functionality to other vendor using XSD schema

Details:

. This is a monitoring tool for an application called LSF on the High

Performance Computing (HPC) Linux node.

. On HPC, Tool is embedded LSF and UNIX command in side program using Java

to check LSF is UP and running on HPC Cluster. Configuration of LSF

command is done in xml file.

. It tool is running as a cron job on HPC master node.

. Tool will keep be monitoring at regular interval of half an hour.

. This application send email alert to respective team if LSF goes down,

as it's a very critical application.

Enhancement of SUBMIT Application

. This is a job submission tool for doing high computing and analysis and

get result back to destination once computing is done. It has multiple

CAE application and user is submitting his large jobs to HPC which is

being carried out to the HPC machines and doing IO processing and HPC

computation got completed the output will be copied back to the user

designated directory.

. This tool is developed in Java, XML and Unix Shell scripts. It's a

bimonthly release of application.

. Each application is having its own <application_name>.xml which is

having some generic keywords and their default values, list of values

picked up by user, and some application specific keywords and values,

also having queues in xml file which overrides the application default

values.

. Have CDATA section in XML for application LSF license resources.

. Client is submitting service request to introduce new functionality in

each and release cycle. We are following Agile SDLC.

. For integration of new application in SUBMIT, we need to directly

contact to END user create a requirement document and based on

requirement develop the application in Java and using Unix Scripting as

a backend part.

. Developed mechanism for intermediate file transfer using Thread concept.

Development of License testing Tool

located on License server without login to License server.

. Has ability to notify if any License feature is in maximum use, along

with license check out of specific user.

. Also have call configuration in Config (text) file, so that each site

can configure their own applications and license port server details.

. License Usage, License Daemon Check, License Usage by User Id, License

Feature Count & Expiry Dates, License Feature Count & Usage, License

Daemon Check for all applications, License Expiration Report, License

Server & Port Information Report, License Usage by Host Name are the

features available in Tool which is dynamically running binaries based

on license type and parsing output.

Development of License Monitoring Web
