Based in New Hyde Park, NY, the North Shore - Long Island Jewish Healthcare System is New York State's
largest deliverer of healthcare services. As a Clinical Information Systems Application Trainer/Analyst, I create,
edit, and review all clinical materials used in both instructor-led and web-based training for MDs, CNAs, PCAs,
RNs, and other clinical and non-clinical personnel, including creating PowerPoint presentations for instructor-
led training, as well as Adobe Captivate videos for web-based training. I am tasked with educational needs
analyses to determine the necessary format and materials for classes. I both train and co -facilitate instructor-
led training classes for NSLIJ clinicians in preparation for Go-Live support both on the units and in the
command center. In addition, I assist management in both the interview and on-boarding processes for new
employees.

MDLand International is a 2006 CCHIT, ARRA 2011 certified, and NYC Department of Health and Hygiene

Designer/Trainer, my duties included both on-site and remote training of physicians and staff in the use of the
company’s software, testing and evaluation of the company’s software, clinical workflow analysis, creation of
user guides and training materials for external end users, and design of e-learning curricula.

Independent Consultant –Vice President of Training
MedLink International is a 2008 CCHIT certified vendor of EHR software and services to clinicians in private
practice. As VP of Training, I was responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive proprietary
training department and program for this newly formed company. My duties included training of physicians and
staff in the use of the company’s products, creation of technical manuals and training materials for both internal
and external end users, and design of e-learning curricula.

Rainbow Computer Services is an enrolled vendor of computer related consulting services for the City
Government of New York. As an independent consultant, I created instructional manuals and performed quality
assurance testing for software used by the New York City municipal government’s financial grants tracking
system, as well as conducting train-the-trainer classes for agency instructors.

Independent Consultant – Training and Implementation
New York Presbyterian Hospital was ranked sixth best hospital in the United States by U.S. News and World
Report in 2007. As an independent consultant to their division of psychiatry in White Plains, NY, my work
included implementation of Intranet-based training programs for the Eclipsys XA (Sunrise Clinical Manager)
electronic medical records system. In addition to training physicians, nurses, and administrative staff in the use
of specific modules of the application, such as computerized physician order entry, medical charting, and
records management, I was responsible for evaluation of trainees and input of results using Pathlore LMS. I
also provided one-to-one support for staff after implementation, and was Project Manager for the on-site Help
Desk, overseeing a team of 15 consultants and providing support and resolution of technical issues for end-
users.

eHealth Solutions, Inc. is a New York City based provider of electronic medical records systems. As an
Implementation Analyst and Software Trainer, my work included both web-based in-service training and one-
to-one floor support for the SigmaCare proprietary EMR system for clinicians working in long-term and
rehabilitative care facilities in the New York City metropolitan region. In addition to the design and
implementation of instructional materials such as training manuals and process manuals, I performed analysis
of data gathered for the purpose of improving clinical work flow, facilitated on-site “train-the trainer” classes for
newly-hired consultants, and performed light maintenance and trouble shooting on the facility WANs, PCs, and
PDA’s.

New York Life Insurance and Annuity Company is the United States’ largest mutual insurer. As both a New
York State Licensed Life\Accident\Health Insurance Producer and Corporate Trainer, my work included
prospecting for new clients, providing sales and product services to existing clients, as well as training new
hires in company product knowledge and services. I trained clerical staff for the rollout of NY Life’s “NB-21”
proprietary web-based insurance application. I created training materials for New York Life’s latest seminar
programs, “Raising Financially Responsible Children” in conjunction with subject-matter expert Neal Godfrey,
and “Building Your Financial House,” including PowerPoint and Captivate presentations and course curricula,
and facilitated seminars using these educational materials for both agents and prospective clients.

Zoni Language Group, International is considered one of the premier English as a Second Language schools
in the New York metropolitan area. As a classroom instructor, I taught classes in adult English as a Second

As a member of the United Federation of Teachers, with the New York City Department of Education, my work
as a teacher at Richmond Hill High School was highly eclectic. I taught classes in English as a Second
Language, French, and Special Education, and implemented instruction compliant with guidelines of the No
Child Left Behind Act of 2001 for my Special Education classes for standardized testing in English language
arts. I was particularly interested in the integration of computer technology in the classroom, and created
computer- based curricula and associated lesson plans for my classes. I also developed and taught web-based
instructional workshops for educators, including “Internet Research for Teachers,” “Publishing on the Internet,”
and “Successful Googling.”

As a teacher at I.S. 311, a newly created charter middle school in Brooklyn, NY, my work included classroom

extra-curricular activities, including chaperoning of students to museums and cultural activities in New York
City. I was the webmaster of the school’s student website, as well as the chairperson of the school’s Computer
