my umbrella are Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Operations, and
Shipping. Current annual Sales are approximately $110 million.
. Reduced PPM's from 8700 to less than 1600 on a 28 day avg. through
implementation of secondary audit/inspection process and
implementation of standardized work flow processes through lamination
and inspection departments.

. Co-leader of Kaizen Implementation Team, out of corporate

implementations throughout U.S. and Canadian operations. Efforts have

(May 2003-June 2007)-Plant downsized beginning in spring of 2007.
. Responsible for 139 associates plus an additional management group of
24 Sections Heads, Tech Staffs, and engineers all focused on
assembling the highest quality shock absorbers as a Tier 1 Automotive
Supplier for HONDA.
. Responsible for complete P & L reporting with a monthly budget of $1.5
million (approximate).
. Co-leader of SHOWA's PIA (Process Improvement Activities) team which
has resulted in an increase of efficiency by 18% and an average
increase of pieces per associate by 24 units. KANBAN, JIT, and Lean
