Over the course of my career at the company was promoted two times. As the
Case Management Manager was responsible for overseeing the Case Management
Department. Duties included ensuring 100% compliance with all Federal and
State guidelines in regards to programming, file maintenance, needs
assessment, documentation etc.,. recruiting/interviewing/hiring and
orientating staff, communication/implementation of all organization
policies/procedures, development/implementation/integration of staff
training manuals/orientation booklets, employee evaluations/assessment,
career planning/development, coordinating staff training programs, career
development days, OSHA compliance, Chair of Safety and Health Committee,
Records Committee, Discipline Committee and Employee Events Committee.
Additional administrative duties included billing, coordinating annual
mailings etc. As a Case Manager responsibilities included the management
of client files in accordance with state guidelines. Coordinated client
programming and reviewed client performance with clients, families,
volunteers, outside agency personnel. Was Case Management Team Leader and
responsible to conduct weekly meetings with Case Management Staff to
discuss any issues. Trained all staff regarding Case Management
policies/procedures. As a training specialist was involved in the
supervision of clients, assessing each individual's performance based upon
program goals/objectives.
